I am a counsellor and psychotherapist providing Counselling and Psychotherapy in Reading, Berkshire. My office is close to junction 11 of the M4 and is easily accessible from Reading Town Centre, Lower Earley, Bracknell and Wokingham. Basingstoke, Maidenhead and Slough are all within a 30 minute drive. I am experienced in helping individuals and couples who have difficulties such as a history of abuse, anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, separation and divorce, relationship problems, low self-esteem, trauma, self-harm, stress and a wide range of work-place issues.

Many people seeking therapy will be experiencing emotional problems. But therapy can also be beneficial if you just want to have a better understanding of yourself. Therapy can do for the mind what exercise does for the body. It can enliven you, help you to think more flexibly, make you emotionally stronger and help to prevent problems occurring in the future.

what happens?

First we meet for an initial session to decide if working together would be beneficial. If we agree to go forward, we then schedule further 50-minute meetings, usually weekly. Together we will explore what lies beneath your current situation and uncover why you feel the way you do. Once you have this new understanding of yourself, you can take steps to address current issues and face new challenges.

My fee per session is £50.00 for individuals and £60.00 for couples.
